For the quick and easy detection of potassium.

In the presence of potassium, the Potassium Test Paper shows an orange-red spot against the yellow background.

Rubidium, caesium and thallium(I) give the same reaction. Sodium and heavy metal ions decrease the sensitivity. The instruction leaflet describes a method to eliminate these interferences.

Store Potassium Test Paper in a cool, dry place.  Avoid exposure to sunlight and moisture.
