Shipping & Returns


Test Strips Online offers a range of different shipping options so that you can choose the best price and service for your location.  We use both TNT and Australia Post.  Pricing for all our different services will be presented to you at checkout.  Shipping is calculated at checkout in real time and the price is dependent on the size of your order and your delivery location.   If there is a technical problem with the shipping calculations, we reserve the right to apply additional fees.


TNT Overnight Express (Australia only)

Next business day delivery for metropolitan areas.  Delivery times may be longer for regional locations.  If you would like an estimated delivery time for your location, please feel free to give us a call.


TNT Road Express (Australia only)

Recommended for non-urgent orders.  Orders despatched via TNT Road Express are transported by road and therefore delivery times will vary depending on your location

Sydney metropolitan area: 1-2 business days

Melbourne metropolitan area: 1-2 business days

Brisbane metropolitan area:  1-2 business days

Adelaide metropolitan area:  2-3 business days

Perth metropolitan area:  3-5 business days

Darwin metropolitan area:  4-7 business days

Australia Post Express Post (Australia only)

Cost-effective, next business day delivery for capital cities (excluding Darwin and Perth and some major centers).


Australia Post Parcel Post (Australia only)

Economical service with delivery between 2-6 business days (may be longer for regional locations).


International Post Economy

Recommended for non-urgent orders.  Estimated delivery in 10+ business days, depending on your location.


International Post Standard

Estimated delivery in 6+ business days, depending on your location.


International Post Express

Estimated delivery in 2-4 business days between metro areas of major cities.  Excludes time in customs if applicable and may be subject to delay due to causes outside of Australia Post’s control.



If nobody is present at the time of delivery, your driver will leave a ‘Sorry We Missed You’ or ‘Item Awaiting Collection’ card.  You will need to follow the instructions on this card to arrange a re-delivery or to collect your parcel from the nearest depot or post office.  If you fail to collect your parcel (usually within 5 business days, depending on the policy of your local depot or post office) it will be returned to Test Strips Online and you will be charged a re-delivery fee.



If nobody will be present at the time of delivery and you would like the driver to leave your order, please write your special instructions under ‘Order Notes’ at the checkout.  For example, “please leave in the mail box”. The driver will not leave your order unless we have written authority from you.



TNT are unable to deliver to PO addresses.  If you’ve selected delivery via TNT then you will need to provide us with a full street address for your order. All orders will require a signature on delivery.  If you are unable to provide a street address for delivery, please contact us before placing your order online and we will do our best to find another delivery option for you.



Orders that are placed before 12:00pm will be despatched on the same day.  Orders placed after 12:00pm may only be despatched on the next business day.



If you’re located outside Australia and you place an order with us, your entire order will be sent together as one single delivery. We do not offer multiple deliveries for international orders.  This means if any items on your order are out of stock, we will hold back all the order until we have everything available in stock, and only then will we despatch your order.  We will inform you by email if this situation should occur.



International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes once the order reaches the specified destination.  Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you.  We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.  Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information.  Additionally, please note that when ordering from, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

A few of our products are classified as dangerous goods.  These items have the following restrictions:

  • Dangerous goods can be delivered within Australia only, by TNT road express courier.  We regret that we cannot supply dangerous goods to international customers.
  • Dangerous goods must be delivered to a physical street address (not a PO Box address).
  • Dangerous goods may incur a dangerous goods transport surcharge, depending on your order quantity.
  • To place an order for dangerous goods, please contact us using the Dangerous Goods Contact Form on the product page and we will get back to you with a quote within 24 hours.



Faulty Items

If you receive a product that is faulty, please contact us before sending the product back to let us know what the problem is. If we determine that the product needs to be returned to us, we will give you instructions on how to return it. Return delivery charges for faulty items will be at the expense of Test Strips Online.


Change of Mind

If you have ordered the wrong product or have changed your mind, please contact us and we will do our best to help you. Whether we agree to accept the return of an item because you have changed your mind will be at the discretion of Test Strips Online, and will be decided by us on a case by case basis.  If agreed by us, you will need to return the product at your own expense.  We recommend that you use an insured registered mail service, as returns not received by us cannot be credited to you.  Please understand that we cannot accept the return of products which have been opened, used or damaged.  The product must be in its original packaging and in re-saleable condition. We also may not be able to accept return of products which are approaching their expiry date. All refunds will be credited only to your  payment card. Refunds will not be paid in cash. Please note we cannot offer credit notes.
